Ladies Ministries
The "Ladies’ Ministries" include monthly fellowship dinners, an annual retreat, a prayer chain, a social events planning committee and quarterly potlucks. All of these ministries were implemented to accomplish one of the following biblical principals: fellowship among believers, evangelism, study of God’s Word, praying for one another, exercise of spiritual gifts and encouraging one another.
The "Ladies’ Monthly Dinners" provide a great fellowship opportunity for the ladies in the church. Each year the ladies explore new and exciting places to eat. They try all types of food ranging from Cajun to Middle Eastern. The ladies also try to be as creative as possible. In the past our dinners have included, dinner theater, dinner cruises and afternoon tea at a local Teahouse. Come join us for all the fun!
The Ladies’ "Annual Retreat" provides time away from busy everyday life that is then dedicated to God’s Word, prayer and worship. The ladies find lots of time for fun and laughter along the way.
The "Emergency Prayer Chain" is a group of ladies who volunteer to be on call 24 hours a day 365 days a year to receive emergency prayer requests. The ladies on the prayer chain are not only there to pray, but to encourage those who ask for prayer and those who are being prayed for.
The "Social Events Planning Committee" is a group of ladies who volunteer to plan and execute Grace Chapel’s social events. Each year they plan the annual picnic and beach party as well as other special social events such as baby showers and wedding showers. What’s more fun then throwing a party?
The "Quarterly Potlucks" (dinner for 8) are groups of eight or more people who get together four times a year for dinner and fellowship. The dinners usually take place at someone’s home. These dinners are a great way to get to know others at Grace Chapel.
Discipleship
The Discipleship ministry exists to help believers attain and maintain a lifestyle of discipleship to our Lord Jesus Christ. As an evangelist seeks to persuade unbelievers of the gospel, a disciplemaker seeks to persuade believers to live faithfully in order to receive full reward from the Lord. Scripture clearly teaches that a genuine disciple is involved in making disciples, so a major focus of our ministry is equipping believers to become involved in Grace Chapel's disciplemaking effort.
Church-Wide Ministries
The purpose of this ministry is to provide fellowship opportunities that will stimulate this body of believers unto love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24–25). This will in turn provide occasions for these believers to exercise and discover their spiritual gift(s), while giving them an opportunity to develop friendships with their fellow brothers and sisters in the congregation. Grace Chapel has many hands-on Help Ministries that will allow you to use your God given gifts to help the overall Body of Christ. Whether it’s in cleaning, greeting, taping, or teaching, Grace Chapel encourages you to utilize your gift(s) now.
Worship Ministry
The music ministry is a ministry that God has allowed a group of us in the music team to serve in. We make every effort to represent all the viewpoints and doctrines taught by our leadership. There are many people who do a wonderful job playing their respective roles within the music team. God never ceases to amaze us the way He pulls us all together to serve one another in love, so thank you all for your contributions. Our objective is to lead the congregation in worshipping God through songs and hymns of praise and thanksgiving in order to prepare their hearts and minds for the study of God’s Word. We make it our goal to bring quality music with biblically accurate lyrics that will strengthen each of us as believers and encourage us in our daily Christian walk. In addition to that ongoing effort, we are seeking to expand our musical sound and invite anyone in the congregation who would like to add their vocal or instrumental talent to this ministry to join us. The music team would like to thank all those involved directly or indirectly with this ministry.
